BSCJ - Bachelor of Science with a Major in Criminal Justice

Students will demonstrate knowledge of the major historical trends, concepts, perspectives, and research in criminal justice.

Students will analyze issues in law enforcement, the courts, and corrections and effectively communicate solutions.

Students will analyze ethical issues and problems related to the field of criminal justice, developing and communicating viable solutions.

Students will demonstrate an understanding of the theories of crime causation and consequences of criminal behavior and communicate how this knowledge can be utilized to develop, implement, and analyze criminal justice policies.

Students will demonstrate an understanding of effective management and leadership concepts.
