This course develops the strategic planning process for potential work place managers and leaders. This course exposes students to the four critical elements of the strategic planning process: 1. Assessing the current situation, 2. Developing a strategy map based on that assessment, 3. Effectively communicating the strategy throughout the business, industry or entity, and 4. Maintaining the plan through on-going governance. The strategic problems managers face are typically ambiguous and strategic management solutions are required to answer questions about products to develop, the markets to enter, operations to outsource and accessing the competition.
