The Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies prepares students for a variety of careers depending on individual selection of class and discipline concentrations. The degree is designed with maximum flexibility to encourage and allow graduation opportunities for students interested in tailoring a degree program to their particular needs, skills, and interests. This degree is beneficial to students with previous college credit in a variety of subjects, but may be of interest to first-year students who are interested in tailoring an individual program of study. Depending on a student’s individual course selections, the degree may be completed online.

DECK 1000 courses are available to students who are currently in their first year at Coastal Georgia and should be completed during one of the student's first two terms of enrollment.
Transfer students who have not yet fulfilled this requirement may also register for a DECK 1000 course and should do so at their earliest possible opportunity.
